Joy Brooke Fairfield directs theater and devises original works of art in collaboration with others. Joy teaches, writes, and mobilizes forces within the field of Performance Studies scholarship with particular emphasis on queer and post-dyadic narratives, pleasure-centric pedagogy and transformative justice. Aida Mbowa is a Kenyan-born Ugandan who dreams, schemes and makes weird things happen. Aida believes in performance, philosophy, compassion and the rigorous interrogation of status quos. Aida has a dual PhD in Drama and Humanities from Stanford University and enjoys directing interdisciplinary live art, writing for newspapers, and re-telling histories.
Elizabeth Hersh writes plays, fictions, & films, designs sets, sound & lights for theater, performs storytelling and is dedicated to collaborative ensemble-generated performance. Beth has had works produced and developed in Seattle, NY, LA, and SF. (BA Cornish, MFA SFSU)
Leanna Keyes writes plays and manages stages. While Leanna is a Performance Design Artist, Performance Design Admin applies as often as not. Also, Performance-Design-running-lights-and-sound. (BA, Stanford University)
Marty Dinn contributes actively to Seattle’s theater, Burning Man, and sex-positive communities and has performed onstage with Pony World Theatre, UW Drama, Macha Monkey, Annex Theater, Nebunele Theater, Live Girls, Difibrulator, Babba Yagga Productions and more. When not in rehearsals or working on something for next year’s Burn, Marty co-organizes a monthly discussion group focused on non-traditional relationships. (BA University of Washington)
